Our existing 15 year old Astral CTX400 pool pump failed Sunday morning, found and ordered a new direct replacement CTX400 from Loopym Sunday afternoon, it was delivered Tuesday morning and had it running before lunch.

I purchased this pool pump as a replacement for my original Austral Viron P320 which I happily operated for 12 years. These pumps are super efficient and reduce your energy costs dramatically as opposed to the single speed pumps. A little more expensive to buy, but those costs are recouped very quickly. Low operating noise and very reliable. Definitely recommend. I didn’t bother looking for an alternative.
